FROM THE BARREL: Matured malt whisky and grain whisky are blended and then re-casked(a process known as "marriage") to create a rich harmony of distinctly different whiskies."From the Barrel" is bottled directly from re-casked barrels of whisky and features almost the same alcohol percentage. At 51.4% alcohol content, this whisky possesses a distinctive personality characterized by solidity, depth of taste and a richly expanding aroma

 

PURE MALT: "Black" is a pure malt whisky made primarily with the Yoichi malt, and it has a solid, bold taste. "Red," on the other hand, is made primarily with malt of the Miyagikyo distillery and has a soft, delicate flavor. "White" is a pure malt whisky made mainly with Islay, Scotland type malt and has a heavy, peaty essence

PURE MALT BLACK: Mainly composed of Yoichi distillery malt, Black is characterized by powerful peat, rich taste and firm flavor

PURE MALT RED: Mainly composed of Miyagikyo distillery malt, Red is characterized by lightly sweet vanilla nose and a soft and gentle taste

PURE MALT WHITE: Mainly composed of malt of the Scottish island of Islay, White has a strong peaty nose reminiscent of seaweed and iodine, and a soft but deep taste

 

SINGLE MALT YOICHI: This bold and distinctive single malt whisky was distilled and matured at the Yoichi distillery in Hokkaido, birthplace of Nikka Whisky. The Yoichi distillery continues to adhere to techniques such as the use of coal-fired pot stills, and otherwise remains loyal to the whisky-making traditions dating back to its foundation.

SINGLE MALT YOICHI 10 Y.O.: This single malt whisky from the Yoichi distillery, stored and matured for 10 years or more, is characterized by a festive nose reminiscent of fruit and a smooth, velvety palate

SINGLE MALT YOICHI 15 Y.O.: This single malt whisky from the Yoichi distillery, stored and matured for 15 years or more, is characterized by its mature and ample nose and smooth, silky palate

 

SINGLE MALT MIYAGIKYO: This soft and luxuriantly fragrant single malt whisky is distilled and matured at the Miyagikyo distillery in Sendai. At Miyagikyo, the different natural environment and the use of steam heat distillation results in a malt whisky with a different character from that of Yoichi.

SINGLE MALT MIYAGIKYO 10 Y.O.: The nose is a luxuriant yet crisp one, harmonizing the light scent of malt with the fragrance of the cask. The palate is characterized by its silky smoothness

SINGLE MALT MIYAGIKYO 15 Y.O.: This single malt whisky features a full and mature nose with an essence of the cask reminiscent of cacao nuts. It is characterized by a deep, mature sweetness and richness that expand softly and fragrantly, and by the soft and smooth tang of its palate

 

TAKETSURU PURE MALT: Malt whisky is distilled exclusively from barley malt, and is considered to be the forefather of all other types of whisky. In general, it is divided into single malt whisky (several malt whiskies from a single distillery vatted together) and pure malt whisky (malt whisky from several distilleries vatted together).

TAKETSURU 12 Y.O.: Malt whiskies matured for 12 years or more at the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries are blended in vats to produce this outstanding pure malt whisky
